Coal Seams

28 and 25 Foot Thick Seams!

This is an amazing opportunity in the heart of the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. The coal lease is surrounded by federal minerals, so with this lease each section of ground gives an advantage to the owner in acquiring the 8 surrounding sections of federal minerals and the resulting 800 % increase in potential. For example if this section has 60 million tons of coal, the 8 surrounding also, likely, have 60 tons of coal for another 480 million tons, total of the 9 sections is over ½ billion tons.

640 acres,

74.7 million ton reserve

25 ft3 of coal per ton.

Moist-mineral matter free Btu (range of means): 9,500 - 10,500

Proximate analysis (range of means %):
    ash yield, 3-5;
    Sulfur, 0.21-0.30;
    total moisture, 24-26

In the lUSGS coal report "Coal Quality USGS" - drill hole # 8 (Table 2, page 13) is near this property and should have values very close to this property's chemistry. These values fall within the Ultimate Analysis (range of means):
Hydrogen, 5.05 - 6.25
Carbon, 42.55 - 54.45
Nitrogen, 0.67 - 0.85
Sulfur, 0.10 - 0.72
Oxygen, 26.27 - 35.58
Calorific Btu, 9,080 - 9,340

It costs $2 per acre per year to keep the lease current.

The Gillette coalfield, within the Powder River Basin in east-central Wyoming, is the most prolific coalfield in the United States. In 2006, production from the coalfield totaled over 431 million short tons of coal, which represented over 37 percent of the Nation's total yearly production. The Anderson and Canyon coal beds in the Gillette coalfield contain some of the largest deposits of low-sulfur subbituminous coal in the world.

Wyoming is the number one coal producer in the United States, Montana ranks fifth. The Powder River Basin in Montana and Wyoming is the leading source of coal in the U.S.
